PRESS KOGYO Group Human Rights Policy

Our group recognizes "the respect for human rights" as a social responsibility we should fulfill as a corporation. Based on our Vision/Mission/Values, we have established the "PRESS KOGYO Group Human Rights Policy" ("the Policy").
The Policy was formulated following a resolution by the Board of Directors, with the intent to respect various international norms and laws related to human rights and to further strengthen our initiatives in this area.
Based on the Policy, we will establish a human rights due diligence mechanism. Through our continuous commitment to this process, we aim to prevent and mitigate any adverse impacts on human rights caused by our business activities.

Priority Human rights Issues and Human Rights Risk Mapping

Out of various human rights issues, we define the following items as our "Priority Human Rights Issues," which we particularly focus on. During the process of establishing these priorities, we evaluate the various human rights issues surrounding our Group based on two criteria: the severity of their impact, and the frequency of their occurrence. This assessment helps us identify the degree of impact on our Group (marked as the dark blue zone). We regularly review these Priority Human Rights Issues in response to changes in social conditions and business environments.

Priority Human Rights Issues

  • Occupational Safety and Health(Working Environment Improvement and Prevention of Labor Accidents)
  • Prevention of Social and Environmental Impact Related to Manufacturing and Procurement Activities
  • Proper Management of Working Hours and Fair Wage
  • Prohibition of Discrimination and Harassment
  • Prohibition of Child Labor and Forced Labor
