Conservation Initiatives for Biodiversity

Our Approach to Biodiversity

As an automotive parts manufacturer, we recognize the importance of biodiversity conservation and are advancing our initiatives towards a nature positive approach based on the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework (COP15) and the National Biodiversity Strategy and action plan(2023-2030). We believe that reducing environmental impacts in our production processes helps prevent biodiversity loss, and we always aim to achieve sustainable business practices through these efforts. As a member of the local community, we believe that biodiversity conservation is the fundamental aspect of our corporate social responsibility.

Our Initiative of Biodiversity : Ecological Survey

In FY2023, we conducted the survey at two bases, Fujisawa plant and Utsunomiya plant in collaboration with ECO-PLANNING RESEARCH Co., Ltd. for steadily advancing our initiative of biodiversity conservation. We will continue this survey this year to gain a comprehensive understanding of the biodiversity situation at each site and plan optimal conservation activities tailored to each local ecosystem. Our activities and progress will be reported on our website.

Through these activities, We are committed to creating a sustainable future with the local community by preserving biodiversity.
