1967

Established Press Kogyo Saitama Works (Press Saitama) Co., Ltd.

Established a new company in Kawagoe City, Saitama Prefecture, as a manufacturing base in northern Kanto. Land acquisition was completed and a ground-breaking ceremony was held.

1968

Press Saitama Plant commenced operations

Completed the plant building and began production of frames and axle cases for heavy-duty trucks for Nissan Diesel’s. Phase 1 construction was completed in June.

Stamping plant completed

Installed three medium-sized press machines in January 1971 and commenced operations.

1971

Started production of joint fittings for concrete piles for Asahi Kasei

Jointly developed with Asahi Kasei and Sumitomo Corporation, marking entry into the construction materials business.

1973

Head Office building completed

1975

Axle cases for medium-duty trucks machining plant completed

1983

Welfare building completed

1984

Factory site divided due to new prefectural road

A new prefectural road passed through the factory site, dividing the premises and requiring relocation of facilities such as the axle plant.

1988

Started production of swing frames for compact hydraulic excavators for Handoser Industries

Started production of construction machinery components. In September 1989, expanded into vehicle assembly for construction equipment.

1992

Installed plasma cutting machine of axles for heavy-duty trucks

1995

Commenced machining of dead axles

1996

Started production of parking systems

2001

Started production of axle units for heavy-duty trucks

Started production after receiving assembly equipment for axle units for heavy-duty trucks from Nissan Diesel.

2005

Absorbed Press Kogyo Saitama Works; Operations commenced as Saitama Plant

To strengthen group management, Press Saitama was merged into the company, marking the end of its history as a subsidiary.

2012

Started production of medium-duty and dead axles welding assemblies transferred from Utsunomiya Plant

Transferred production processes as part of plant streamlining efforts.

2013

Started production of trailer dead axles assemblies for TOHO CAR CORPORATION

Introduced friction welding equipment and started production of welded assemblies of axle bodies and spindles.

2016

Started production on frame assembly line A for UD Trucks

Started production of large frames for VOLVO specifications.

2018

Assembly Line for specific axles units for MFTBC commenced operations

Started production after receiving assembly equipment for axle units of special-purpose vehicles from MFTBC.

2021

Transferred frame reinforcement assembly process for UD Trucks from Utsunomiya Plant

Transferred the process as part of plant streamlining efforts.

2025

New office building completed
